< PreviousHere’s Frazer’s collection of the weird and wonderful ‘news’ that came his way over the last few weeks. And finally The world of Frazer 70 East Midlands Business Link www.eastmidlandsbusinesslink.co.uk One sheep, two sheep… A stressful day at work can often leave one tossing and turning at night. However now, for the first time, a new business venture is ready to send you off to the land of nod by enhancing the age old method of counting sheep - with a real life experience! A sleep tech company is launching the “Shleep Sanctuary,” featuring a glass dome and double bed in a field with hillside views. Sheep will each have a number painted on them, with guests encouraged to count them before slipping into sweet dreams under the stars. Sounds to Frazer like a great way to end a busy week. The wrong Truss Last month saw Liz Truss named the new prime minister. With it came a busy September with the mini budget (that was praised by some and saw demands for its reversal from others) and tax cuts, plans for energy bill aid for businesses, and a tumbling pound. But as many now try to contact Ms Truss online, it seems that a woman called Liz Trussell, who has the handle @LizTruss on Twitter, is being confused for the Conservative Party leader. Rival politicians, members of the public, and even the prime ministers of other countries have mistakenly tagged Trussell’s account rather than the one belonging to Liz Truss (@trussliz), and the woman has been sending cheeky replies with some hilarious results, following a message of congrats from Sweden’s prime minister, for example, with: “Looking forward to a visit soon! Get the meatballs ready.” The office pet While office dogs seem to be on the rise, they aren’t the only pets making their way into the workplace to boost spirits and act as a form of therapy. During a recent business luncheon, an old connection of Frazer’s shared news of an individual being allowed to take their giant snail to work in a cardboard box, with holes to allow in air. Reportedly nicknamed Sid, the 8 inch snail was apparently brought to a police station by a new recruit to calm his nerves. Though it may appear an odd choice, research does indicate that a pet-friendly office can reduce stress, enhance wellbeing and morale, encourage more cooperation, communication, make the workplace a more friendly place, and make companies more successful at attracting and retaining employees. adobe.stock.com/ Tartila adobe.stock.com/ bloomicon adobe.stock.com/ Alis Photo 70.qxp_Layout 1 04/10/2022 09:34 Page 1Armstrong house Armstrong House, Armstrong Street, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire DN31 2QE Tel: (01472) 310301 Email: s.fisher@blmgroup.co.uk Superb Location - - Close to the ports of Grimsby & Immingham - Great motorway links - Close to the town centre Secure off street parking High speed internet availability A range of affordable office sizes 3 3 3 3 Last remaining office suites Prime location in Grimsby Offering a prime position in Grimsby, Armstrong House on Armstrong Street is ideally located.
